Yoohwa Roslie Hong, M.Ed., BCBA

  Roslie Hong is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and a Category A Approved Behaviour Consultant under the Registry of Autism Service Providers in British Columbia. Roslie Hong began her journey to walk with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2014 when she interned at the ABA Centre in South Korea. It brought her lovely memories of Elementary school, helping two classmates with severe disabilities, feeling very precious to support them. Since then, she could not stop pursuing her career to be with toddlers, children, students, and even young adults with difficulties in various areas. 

  Her strengths come from years of clinical experience and over 2 years of research experience writing journals and administering Autism diagnostic tools like CARS-2, ADOS-2, and ADI-R. The experiences made her very sensitive to identifying each learner's different features/styles/personalities that reflect their individualized behaviour support programs. She truly believes that everyone interacting with the learners should all work together as a team, and she loves teamwork! 

  Her approach is to embed individualized goals into various play and activities with her best effort that the learners can enjoy, which mostly can be delivered in the natural environment for their age. Sometimes, some learners may require some table activities depending on their areas of weaknesses, however, we make the activities enjoyable for our learners by respecting everyone's preferences and needs!
