About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) & Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our multidisciplinary team! This is a flexible, part-time position—ideal for SLPs dedicated to working with love and enthusiasm to support clients with special needs.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and small-group speech therapy sessions focusing on language development, articulation, and social communication.
Provide individual OT sessions(as needed) focusing on motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence.
Collaborate with BCBAs, Junior Behavior Consultants, Behavior Interventionists, and families to support communication goals.
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Offer consultation and training for staff and caregivers on communication strategies.
Maintain detailed session notes and progress reports, if applicable, that help the most effective communication among the professionals.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and registration with College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C. CSHBC.
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC).
Experience working with children with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Knowledge of Gestalt Language Processing(GLP) is required for SLPs.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
