Overview
We offer a new summer camp this year! Korean Land is a culturally enriched camp where children explore Korean language and culture through fun, hands-on, and meaningful experiences connected to everyday life. Using themes related to summer, family, and daily experiences, children will learn how to understand and use language in a more natural and socially meaningful way.
Throughout the week, children will participate in activities such as:
• Exploring summer in Korea (e.g., beaches, valleys, traditional summer foods like bingsoo and hwachae)
• Learning about family and relatives (e.g., family members and Korean kinship terms)
• Looking at the map of Korea and discovering popular summer destinations
• Learning the basics of Korean language (e.g., consonants and vowels) or advanced depending on the students’ level.
• Playing games in Korean
These activities are designed to help children:
• Build basic Korean vocabulary and understanding
• Practice using language in meaningful social contexts
• Improve listening and participation in group learning
• Develop cultural awareness and connection
• Strengthen communication and social interaction skills
How the Program Is Run
This camp is led by our Behaviour Consultants (BCs) or Junior Behaviour Consultants (JBCs), with additional support from our Behaviour Interventionists (BIs).
Daily Routine
Each day follows a consistent and predictable structure to help children feel comfortable and ready to learn:

• Strongly resist adult support during group participation
• Tend to run or leave the area (elopement)
• Show behaviours that are unsafe to themselves or others (This is for the safety matter for everyone. We appreciate your understanding in advance.)
If you are unsure, we are happy to discuss this with you before registration.
🙏 Our group rate is set to remain affordable while maintaining a low staff-to-student ratio (maximum 1:3). Therefore, we appreciate everyone’s understanding to apply the late pick-up policy of $4 per 5 minutes after 1pm.
🙏 If your child is outside of this age range but you are interested in enrolling him/her, please inquire to our team before registration.
